Writing to Live, Living to Write

Writing to Live, Living to Write

Workshop with Erin Dingle

Sunday, January 24, 2016

1-3 pm

@ Loft 112 (112, 535 8 Ave. SE Calgary)

Do you feel like you need a reason to write?
Is it hard to find those reasons as often as you'd like?
As a writer, your words are your muscle. The more you play, the stronger your language becomes.
Join Erin Dingle and explore ways to build and expand your creative writing routine. Learn techniques to kick start a daily or weekly writing practice as a space for personal and artistic growth.
Come out and play with Poetry!

Cost: Early Bird $25 (ends January 3)
General $30

Register: http://writingtolive.brownpapertickets.com/

Refreshments and snacks provided.

Erin Dingle tells it like it is. Whether it's sad, silly, science or NSFW, she "takes that confused feeling or idea you've never had words for and paints it into poetry you'll understand."
Erin is a big energy Performance Poet from Calgary. She came second at CIPS in 2015 and has competed on 5 consecutive Calgary Poetry Slam teams. She has also shared words at poetry festivals across Canada, exploring issues like breast cancer, motherhood, mental and emotional health, and sexuality.
